Great question! Every session is different, so pick yours!
Because you adore the connection between you and your loved ones- and so do I!
Because you're graduating from high school and want gorgeous images to celebrate your accomplishment.
Because you're in love and you can't wait to yell it from the mountaintop- or from the Facebook or Instagram 'mountaintop' if said mountain is unavailable.
Because you want to capture that beautiful baby bump and display it in the new nursery.
Because you want a low-stress family portrait experience and images that capture the spirit of your brood, not just their 'cheese' smiles.
Because you're exhausted from chasing your littlest lady or gent(s) for that elusive photo, and would like someone else to do it for you.
Because you want to commemorate generations of family coming together- and Grandparents love nothing more than photos of the family they've created.
Because you want your save the date, grooms gift, wedding guest book, gift idea or holiday card to be custom, memorable and uniquely you.
Because you want to look as happy as you feel in your images.
Because you, like me, believe in the magic of the 'Toyota Jump'.
Because photographs don't forget.
My goal is to capture authentic images that you can’t wait to share and that you’ll seek out for a smile. Beyond capturing those images, we will create personal art as tangible reminders of how you and yours looked, felt and loved in that moment in time. Your session will be unique, comfortable and fun. You’ll engage in activities before and during your session that will enhance your experience and help rediscover your joy. So get excited. Like giddy, surprise party excited (that is, unless you hate surprises, in which case fill in the blank). This is gonna be great.
Thanks for letting me be a part of your story.

I've been asked why I chose the hummingbird to represent CK Dawn Photography. My answer is best summarized by this quote from Papyrus which beautifully represented my feelings about gratitude, life and photography:
Legends say that hummingbirds float free of time, carrying our hopes for love, joy and celebration. Hummingbirds open our eyes to the wonder of the world and inspire us to open our hearts to loved ones and friends. Like a hummingbird, we aspire to hover and to savor each moment as it passes, embrace all that life has to offer and to celebrate the joy of everyday. The hummingbird’s delicate grace reminds us that life is rich, beauty is everywhere, every personal connection has meaning and that laughter is life’s sweetest creation.
My family believes that my Grandma Pearl still comes to check on us from time to time disguised as her favorite bird, the Hummingbird.
